Crane Operator
Location: Bungoma, Kenya


We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. Our company specializes in construction and we are looking for a skilled individual to operate our cranes on various job sites. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the crane to move materials and equipment on the construction site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes, including tower cranes, mobile cranes, and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret load charts to determine safe load capacities
- Inspect cranes before use and perform necessary maintenance and repairs
- Safely maneuver loads using hand signals or radio communication with ground crew
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around the crane
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Communicate effectively with other members of the construction team

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Crane Operator in a construction setting
- Valid certification or license to operate cranes (e.g. CPCS or NCCCO)
- Ability to read and understand load charts
- Familiarity with different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Malayalee or Egyptian languages is a plus)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm. Some overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.

Accommodation:
This job does not offer accommodation. Candidates must have their own housing arrangements in Bungoma.

Other Requirements:
Candidates must have a valid biometric passport for international travel. This is an urgent position, so we are looking for candidates who can start immediately.
