Senior Android Developer

We are hiring a skilled Senior Android Developer to join our growing team in Braga. As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement new features and improvements. The ideal candidate must have strong experience with Java and Kotlin programming languages and be familiar with the latest Android development tools and technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create innovative solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code following best practices.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of mobile applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with QA team to perform comprehensive testing of applications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile development.
- Mentor junior developers in the team.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing native Android applications.
- Proficient in Java, Kotlin, and other relevant technologies such as RxJava, Retrofit, etc.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with hybrid app development using frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
- Knowledge of iOS app development using Swift or Objective-C.
