Experienced Turner in Moscow, Canada


We are currently hiring an experienced Turner to join our team in Moscow, Canada. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various manual and automated machines to shape and fabricate metal parts according to specifications. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per week.

Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Turner
- Proficient in using various turning tools and machines
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Detail-oriented with strong mathematical skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as needed
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Canadian citizenship is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual or CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and other turning equipment
- Select appropriate tools, attachments, speeds, feeds, and coolant for each job
- Measure and inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery or processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production
