Head Baker (Indian Cuisine)


We are a well-established bakery located in St. Petersburg, seeking an experienced and passionate Head Baker to lead our team in creating delicious Indian-inspired baked goods. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, and desserts that meet our high standards of quality and taste. Your expertise in Indian cuisine will be crucial in creating unique and authentic flavors that will delight our customers.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the bakery, including production, inventory management, and staff scheduling
• Lead a team of bakers and assistants to ensure timely and high-quality production
• Create new recipes and improve existing ones to incorporate traditional Indian flavors
• Monitor ingredient quantities and ensure proper storage to minimize waste
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with food safety standards
• Train new staff members on baking techniques and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments such as sales and marketing to develop new products and promotions

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience as a professional baker, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, particularly when it comes to baking techniques and flavor profiles
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train others effectively
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Passion for creating unique and delicious baked goods

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. The salary for this position is $1300 per month. The working hours will vary depending on production needs but may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
