Excavator Operator


As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth, rocks, and other materials. This role requires precision and attention to detail as you will be working in various construction sites in Bungoma. You must have prior experience operating an excavator and possess a valid operator's license.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to dig trenches, load trucks, and move materials
- Follow safety protocols and maintain machinery in good condition
- Read plans and blueprints to determine excavation requirements
- Communicate with site supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to project timelines and meet production goals

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least 2 years of experience operating an excavator
- Valid operator's license
- Ability to read plans and blueprints
- Physically fit and able to work long hours in various weather conditions

Preferred:
- Previous experience in construction or excavation projects
- Knowledge of basic mechanical repairs
- Effective communication skills
