Cashier for Retail Store in Al Buraymi, Oman
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our retail store located in the bustling city of Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and perform cash reconciliations at the end of each shift
- Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies
- Keep track of inventory levels and notify management of any discrepancies
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly
Requirements:
- Must be Egyptian or Nepali nationality with fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
