DevOps Developer - Contract Position

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, DC. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration and deployment of our software products, as well as managing the infrastructure and continuous delivery processes. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong background in software development and systems management.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement continuous integration and delivery processes
- Manage software deployments across various environments (development, testing, production)
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to integration or deployment
- Design and maintain infrastructure for applications using automation tools (e.g. Puppet, Chef)
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to DevOps

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3 years of experience in software development or systems administration
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and continuous delivery principles
- Experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Washington, DC (accommodation provided)
