Administrative Assistant in Eldoret, Kenya
As an administrative assistant in Eldoret, Kenya, you will be responsible for providing support to the office with a wide range of tasks. This is an ideal position for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and has excellent communication skills. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily office functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Creating and maintaining filing systems
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Handling phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person
- Assisting with travel arrangements and accommodations
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
- Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
- Liaising with internal departments and external contacts as needed
- Providing general administrative support to the team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will receive a free visa and travel ticket. Accommodation is not provided but assistance can be given in finding suitable housing.
