Power Engineer



A power engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and operating power systems and equipment in a variety of industries. They are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of electricity to consumers. As a power engineer, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of electrical principles, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing and implementing electrical systems for various industries
- Maintaining and repairing power equipment such as generators, transformers, and switchgear
- Troubleshooting technical issues with power systems
- Performing regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Monitoring energy usage and making recommendations for improvements to reduce costs
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of electrical principles and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills in English

This position is located in Eldoret, Kenya.

Salary:

The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
