Head Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our restaurant team in Abu Dhabi. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, creating and implementing new menus, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. We are looking for a talented chef with a passion for Indian cuisine, who is able to handle high-pressure environments and work well with a diverse team. Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and implement new menus based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality food production
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining budget control
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop strategies for increasing profitability
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for kitchen staff

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a reputable restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a diverse team
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus)
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Abu Dhabi (candidate must be willing to relocate if not already based in Abu Dhabi)
Visa: The candidate must have their own visa or be willing to obtain one.
