Part-Time Network and Systems Administrator (Karachi, Pakistan)



We are hiring a part-time Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Karachi. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our computer networks and systems, ensuring their smooth functioning and security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and configure computer networks, systems, and applications according to company standards
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary maintenance
- Ensure the security of our systems by implementing firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures
- Create user accounts, manage permissions, and provide technical support to users
- Develop and maintain network documentation and inventory records
- Conduct regular backups of data to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with other IT team members to identify areas for improvement in network infrastructure
- Stay updated on new technologies in the field of networking and systems administration

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), hardware (routers, switches), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Experience with network security tools such as firewalls and antivirus software
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues quickly and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users

Salary: 1700$ per month (part-time)
