Elevator Installer in Akron, Ohio, USA



As an Elevator Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining elevators in various buildings and structures. This is a full-time position in the city of Akron, Ohio. We welcome applicants from all nationalities who are fluent in English and have relevant experience in elevator installation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble elevator components according to blueprints and specifications
- Test and adjust elevator systems to ensure proper functioning
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on elevators
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with elevator systems
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each installation or repair job

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in elevator installation or a related field
- Familiarity with blueprints, electrical wiring, and other technical documents
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely
- Ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects as needed
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
