Part-Time Baker (Indian Cuisine)
Location: Bungoma, Kenya


We are looking for an experienced Baker who specializes in Indian cuisine to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of traditional Indian breads and other baked goods. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area.

Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Baker, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine
- Knowledge of traditional Indian breads and other baked goods is required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of traditional Indian breads, such as naan, roti, and paratha
- Bake other Indian desserts and snacks as needed
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
- Follow recipes accurately to maintain consistency in taste
- Monitor baking times and temperatures for different types of breads
- Assist in creating new menu items or modifying existing ones
