Database Administrator - St. Petersburg, Russia (Pakistani Nationals Preferred)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in St. Petersburg, Russia. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. You will also be responsible for planning and implementing database changes and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain databases according to business needs.
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot any database issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements for new databases or modifications to existing ones.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology.
- Train and support end-users on database usage.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience with database design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with database backup methods, replication, clustering, and high availability solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this contract position.
