Caregiver for Elderly in Eldoret, Kenya


We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide dedicated care for an elderly individual in Eldoret, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in caregiving and be fluent in English. This is a live-out position, so the caregiver must have their own accommodation and visa.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care for the elderly individual, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as prescribed by a physician
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Monitor health and well-being of the individual and report any changes to family members or medical professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the elderly individual
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the individual at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving for elderly individuals
- Fluent in English (knowledge of local languages is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed
- Physically fit and able to assist with tasks such as lifting or transferring the individual
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature
- Good communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

This job is located in Eldoret, Kenya.

Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian caregivers with valid work visas.
