Facade Engineer



We are seeking an experienced Facade Engineer to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the exterior of buildings. Your role will involve working closely with architects and contractors to ensure that the facade of each building is functional, aesthetically pleasing, and meets all necessary safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing and planning the exterior of buildings, including materials, colors, and overall appearance
- Collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure that the facade meets all technical requirements
- Conducting site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing facades and make recommendations for repairs or improvements
- Preparing detailed drawings and specifications for facade construction projects
- Overseeing construction projects to ensure proper installation of facades according to design plans
- Conducting performance tests on completed facades to ensure they meet safety standards
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in facade design and construction

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Facade Engineer
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations related to facades
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Excellent communication skills for working with architects, contractors, and other team members
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Porto, Portugal (without accommodation)
