Sous Chef
Our busy and highly-rated restaurant in Khanpur is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong background in culinary arts and a creative approach to cooking. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and creating new dishes
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training and scheduling
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies when needed
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
- Monitor food costs and strive for cost-efficiency without compromising quality
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and creativity in menu planning and presentation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
