Senior Accountant
City: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia



As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of our organization. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial statements, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor cash flows and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Develop budgets and financial forecasts
- Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement
- Prepare tax returns and liaise with tax authorities
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis for decision making
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience using accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
