Machine Operator

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to produce high-quality products. Your duties will include setting up machines, monitoring operations, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance. You will work closely with a team to ensure production goals are met and quality standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machines according to standard operating procedures
- Set up machines for production runs and adjust settings as needed
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain efficiency
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate production schedules
- Ensure products meet quality standards by conducting visual inspections and using measurement tools
- Keep accurate records of production and maintenance activities
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of machine operation and basic maintenance procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Eldoret, Kenya

Contract Type: Full-time, contract position without accommodation provided.

Preference: This position is open to all nationalities. However, candidates who have their own valid visa/work permit for Kenya will be given preference.
