Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Acre. Your main duties will include conducting site assessments, developing preservation plans, overseeing restoration projects, and collaborating with other architects and construction professionals. You must have at least 3 years of experience in preservation architecture and possess a strong understanding of historical building materials, techniques, and codes. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with international clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the condition of historical buildings
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Oversee restoration projects to ensure they are carried out according to the preservation plan
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants on restoration projects
- Research historical building materials and techniques to inform restoration efforts
- Monitor project progress and budget to ensure timely completion within allocated resources
- Document all project activities including site visits, reports, drawings, and specifications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture or related field
- Strong knowledge of historical building materials, techniques, codes, and regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams of professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Acre

Preference: Indian nationals with experience in English-speaking countries
