Head Chef - Gujrat, India


As a Head Chef at our restaurant in Gujrat, India, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our kitchen operations. You will be expected to bring your creativity, expertise, and passion for food to the table as you lead a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that showcase the best of Indian cuisine while also incorporating international flavors and techniques
- Manage inventory and ensure that all ingredients are sourced fresh and within budget
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and sanitation are met
- Oversee the cooking process to ensure dishes are prepared according to recipes and company standards
- Monitor food quality and make adjustments as needed to maintain consistency
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control measures, and pricing strategies
- Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment by adhering to health codes and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Proficient knowledge of Indian cuisine with the ability to create unique dishes using traditional ingredients
- Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and create budgets
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with management, suppliers, customers, and team members from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

Qualifications:
-A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
-Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
-Flexibility in working hours including weekends.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1700$ per month along with other benefits.
