QA Engineer - Funchal, Portugal (Visa Sponsorship Available)


We are in search of a talented QA Engineer to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available for non-EU citizens.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software meets requirements and is free of defects
- Identify, document, and track bugs in our software products
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve overall product quality
- Use automated testing tools to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing processes
- Conduct regression testing to ensure product stability after updates or changes
- Communicate testing progress and results to project stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium or JUnit
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month.
