Junior Web Developer


We are a fast-growing technology company in Braga, seeking a talented Junior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain new and existing web applications.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Junior Web Developer or similar role.
- Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Experience with responsive design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SEO principles.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
