We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator for a part-time position in our company located in Funchal, Portugal. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our computer networks and systems to ensure maximum uptime, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance to identify potential issues or areas of improvement
- Troubleshoot network problems and provide timely resolution
- Ensure network security by implementing appropriate security measures
- Conduct regular backups of network data to prevent loss or damage
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware or software updates as needed
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the industry

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and hardware components
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule can be flexible depending on the candidate's availability.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
