Heavy Equipment Operator in Las Vegas


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, and loaders to complete construction projects and perform tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to safety protocols and manufacturer's instructions
- Inspect equipment before use and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Use hand signals or radio communication to coordinate with other workers on the job site
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine the scope of work
- Safely operate heavy equipment in various weather conditions and terrains
- Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies while operating equipment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Las Vegas
