Contract Office Assistant in Faro, Portugal
We are hiring a Contract Office Assistant to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and helping to maintain the smooth operation of our office. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$, and visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department
- Greeting visitors and clients and directing them to the correct meeting rooms
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when needed
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Organizing and maintaining files and documents
- Providing general administrative support to team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business administration preferred
- Previous experience as an office assistant or in a similar role is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
