Interpreter (English-Speaking)


We are in need of an experienced and skilled Interpreter to join our team in Los Angeles. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for non-English speaking individuals. Your primary role will be to facilitate communication between our clients and English-speaking professionals.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person, via telephone or video conferencing
- Ensure accurate and clear communication between parties by translating verbal messages
- Interpret legal documents, medical records, and other sensitive information
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Collaborate with other interpreters or language specialists when necessary
- Adapt to different dialects or accents as needed
- Assist with any necessary cultural explanations or clarifications

Requirements:
- Fluent in English and at least one other language (preferably Spanish)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and think quickly on your feet
- Familiarity with medical terminology, legal terminology, or other specialized vocabulary is a plus

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Los Angeles (must have own visa)
