Network and Systems Administrator


We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Los Angeles. As our ideal candidate, you will have experience in network and systems administration, along with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our network and systems, ensuring their smooth operation and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Install and maintain server hardware and software including operating systems, virtualization platforms, and applications
- Manage user accounts and permissions on servers and network devices
- Perform regular backups of data to ensure data integrity
- Maintain security protocols for network and systems to prevent unauthorized access
- Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and networking issues
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for critical systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or related field
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems (2008/2012/2016)
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of Active Directory management including user accounts, group policies, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex technical issues quickly
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team

Salary:
1200$ per month

Location:
Los Angeles (Preference given to Indian or Kenyan candidates)

Employment Type:
Full-time (40 hours per week)
