Entry-Level Database Administrator

Our company is seeking an Entry-Level Database Administrator for our office in Ufa, Russia. This is an excellent opportunity for an English-speaking candidate, preferably of Indian nationality, who is looking to gain experience in the field of database administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database systems, ensuring data security and integrity, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. The role will also involve providing support to other team members and collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient use of our databases. Accommodation will be provided for the selected candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain databases, including backups, upgrades, and performance tuning
- Monitor database systems to ensure data security and integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient use of databases
- Provide support to users and assist with data queries as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of SQL language and relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments

Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience in database administration or a related field
- Familiarity with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Certifications in relevant areas such as Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

Salary: 1200$ per month

Location: Ufa, Russia
