Preservation Architect


As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in Khanpur. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that all preservation projects meet local and national historical preservation standards. Your attention to detail and knowledge of historic building materials and techniques will be essential in successfully completing preservation projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys and assessments of historical buildings to determine necessary repairs and restoration work
- Develop detailed preservation plans, including cost estimates and timelines
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other professionals to implement preservation projects
- Ensure that all restoration work adheres to local and national historical preservation standards
- Source or create historically accurate materials for restoration projects
- Monitor progress of restoration work and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that restoration work meets standards
- Keep accurate records of all preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in historic preservation or a similar role
- Strong understanding of historical building materials, construction techniques, and architectural styles
- Knowledge of local and national historical preservation standards
- Excellent project management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Khanpur (candidates with own visa preferred)
