We are hiring a skilled and experienced Librarian to join our team at a prestigious library in the bustling city of Jerusalem, Israel. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books, magazines, and other resources. Your main duties will include cataloging materials, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and developing and implementing programs to promote literacy and reading.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of library management software and online databases
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of materials, including acquisition, cataloging, shelving, and maintenance.
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide reference services.
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading among community members.
- Create displays and exhibits to showcase new materials or highlight special collections.
- Train volunteers or interns on library procedures and assist with their supervision.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends in literature, technology, and educational resources.
- Collaborate with other librarians or organizations to plan events or workshops for patrons.
- Maintain accurate records of circulation statistics, patron requests, overdue items, etc.
- Keep the library space clean, organized, and welcoming for all visitors.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1000 USD per month. Salary may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. The schedule may include evenings or weekends depending on the needs of the library.
