Restaurant Manager - Nepali Cuisine (Shan, Nepal)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our Nepali cuisine restaurant in Shan, Nepal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, specifically in managing a restaurant. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and service, managing staff and schedules, and ensuring the overall success of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations including food preparation, service, inventory management, and customer satisfaction
- Create and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality ingredients at competitive prices
- Train and manage staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally
- Manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times
- Collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items and specials

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the food and beverage industry
- Strong knowledge of Nepali cuisine is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (Nepali language proficiency is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Ability to work long hours on feet in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time

Education Requirement: Minimum 12th grade pass. Relevant degree or diploma is preferred but not required.
