We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Almada. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for print or digital publication. Your attention to detail, strong typography skills, and knowledge of design software will be essential in producing visually appealing and error-free documents. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual with a passion for layout and design to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Check for errors in spelling, grammar, and formatting
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality layouts
- Use design software such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress to create layouts
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and trends in typesetting
- Communicate effectively with clients or authors regarding layout preferences
- Manage multiple projects within tight deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong typography skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress
- Understanding of printing processes and color management
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Degree or certification in graphic design or related field preferred

Salary: 1700$
Location: Almada (with accommodation)
