Sous Chef - Fine Dining (Karachi, Pakistan)
As a Sous Chef at our fine dining establishment in Karachi, you will work alongside our Head Chef to create and execute exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. We are seeking a creative and passionate individual with proven experience in the kitchen, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Head Chef to plan menus and develop new dishes
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance
- Maintain inventory levels and monitor food costs to ensure profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist in the creation of schedules and manage labor costs effectively
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
