The Instrument Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and control systems in industrial or manufacturing settings. This role requires hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of safety procedures and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation equipment such as sensors, switches, transmitters, controllers, and control valves
- Troubleshoot issues with electrical or mechanical components using diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
- Collaborate with other technicians or engineers to resolve complex issues
- Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment maintenance history
- Stay updated on new technology in the field to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Diploma in Instrumentation Technology or related field preferred
- Knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
- Familiarity with various instrumentation systems such as PLCs, DCSs, SCADA systems, etc.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position located in Porto. The salary for this role is $900 per month. The company does not provide accommodation but can assist with finding suitable housing options. The candidate must have a valid work visa for Portugal or be eligible for one. The company will provide a free visa and ticket for the chosen candidate.
