Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Lisbon. Your main role will be to analyze the condition of these structures and develop plans for their conservation and restoration. This requires a deep understanding of architectural design, materials, and construction techniques from different time periods.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience as an architect, with a focus on preservation and restoration projects. You should also have excellent knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to historical preservation in Lisbon.

As this position involves working on-site at various locations throughout the city, you must be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions. Accommodation will be provided if needed, but candidates with their own visa are preferred.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone with a passion for historical preservation and a strong attention to detail. You should also have excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with clients, contractors, and government officials.
