Computer Support Specialist


A computer support specialist is a technical professional who provides assistance and support to computer users in an organization. This individual is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems and software, as well as providing technical guidance and training to users.

The ideal candidate for this role should have experience with various operating systems and software applications, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They must also be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support to computer users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks
- Diagnose hardware and software problems, recommend solutions, and perform repairs
- Train users on how to use new hardware or software applications
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues
- Keep track of inventory of hardware and software components
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN/WAN)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

This is a contract position based in Atlanta. We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month. We also provide free visa sponsorship and travel ticket for qualified candidates.
