We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to join our growing team in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure their secure, efficient, and reliable operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and a passion for data integrity.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure databases according to company standards
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing access controls and data encryption
- Create documentation for database processes, procedures, and standards
- Train users on database functionality and best practices
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and upgrades

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficient in SQL language and database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques
- Experience with backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
