Part-Time Database Administrator (Lisbon, Portugal)


We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Troubleshoot any issues with database functionality or performance

- Create and maintain database documentation and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Knowledge of SQL databases and related tools such as MySQL or Oracle
- Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl

Salary: $900 per month (part-time)
