Junior Accountant



We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Junior Accountant, you will assist in preparing financial statements, maintaining records and reports, and analyzing financial data. This position offers a salary of 1500$, along with accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (freshers are welcome to apply)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Portuguese GAAP is a plus
- Experience working in a multinational company is an advantage
