Smelter Operator


A smelter operator is responsible for overseeing the process of extracting metal from its ore through a heating and melting process. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, attention to detail, and physical strength.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain smelting equipment
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and flow of materials in the smelting process
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the smelting process
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality control measures
- Participate in regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a smelting or industrial setting preferred
- Strong technical skills and ability to understand complex machinery
- Physical strength and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.
