Entry-Level Instrument Technician

We are hiring an Entry-Level Instrument Technician to join our team in Funchal, Madeira. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments and equipment used in our facility. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the field and eager to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all types of instruments and equipment
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure smooth operation of instruments
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies related to instrument maintenance

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrument technology preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and principles
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, etc.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing job requirements

Salary: As an Entry-Level Instrument Technician, you will receive a starting salary of 1400$ per month.

Location: This position is based in Funchal, the picturesque capital city of Madeira known for its stunning views, mild climate, and rich culture.
