Insurance Claims Adjuster

As an Insurance Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims to determine the extent of coverage and liability. You will be working with clients, policyholders, and other professionals to gather information and evidence related to the claim. Your role will involve reviewing policies, negotiating settlements, and documenting findings in reports. You must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Investigate insurance claims by gathering information from various sources
- Examine policies to determine coverage and liability
- Interview witnesses, claimants, and policyholders to gather evidence
- Review medical records, police reports, and other documents related to the claim
- Analyze information and make sound decisions based on policy terms and legal requirements
- Negotiate settlements with claimants or their legal representatives
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations
- Communicate with clients, policyholders, and other professionals involved in the claims process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field
- Prior experience in insurance claims adjusting is preferred but not required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret policies and legal requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of insurance laws and regulations is a plus
- Willingness to relocate to Malindi for the duration of employment
