Office Assistant for Contract Position in Al-Wakra, Egypt
As an Office Assistant for our contract position in Al-Wakra, Egypt, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to our team. Your main duties will include managing phone calls and correspondence, organizing and maintaining files, and assisting with data entry and record keeping. This is a great opportunity for an energetic and organized individual to gain experience in an office setting.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and redirecting them as necessary
- Handling correspondence including letters, emails, and packages
- Organizing and maintaining physical and digital files
- Assisting with data entry and record keeping
- Scheduling appointments and meetings
- Performing basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, expenses tracking, etc.
- Coordinating with other departments within the company
- Purchasing office supplies as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in Arabic (preferably Egyptian dialect) is required
Salary: $1800 per month
Contract Period: 6 months with the possibility of extension.
