Dietitian - Nutrition Consultant


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our team in Nakuru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and a passion for helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. This position is open to candidates of any nationality, with no English language proficiency requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual consultations with clients to assess their nutritional needs and create personalized meal plans
- Provide education on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes to improve overall health
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with specific medical conditions
- Stay up-to-date on current research and trends in nutrition and incorporate this knowledge into practice
- Create educational materials, such as handouts or presentations, to educate clients on various nutrition topics
- Develop partnerships with local organizations or businesses to promote healthy eating habits within the community

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited institution
- Valid license to practice as a Dietitian in Nakuru, or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Strong understanding of nutrition principles and ability to apply them in practice
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathetic and compassionate approach towards clients' needs and challenges
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with a team
- Prior experience working with diverse populations is preferred but not required

Salary: 1200$ per month
