We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Multan. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring data security and integrity, and optimizing database performance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software.
- Monitor database systems to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot database errors and performance problems.
- Develop and implement data security measures.
- Optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexes, and server settings.
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures for new applications.
- Create and maintain documentation of database schemas, processes, and procedures.
- Train end-users on how to access and utilize the databases.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle) as well as NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security practices and tools.
- Experience with database performance tuning techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
