Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist

As a Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the construction of various structures such as buildings, bridges, roads, and other infrastructure projects in Moscow. You will use your expertise in structural engineering principles and software to create detailed plans and specifications for construction. Your role will also involve conducting site inspections, collaborating with architects and other engineers, and ensuring that projects meet safety standards and regulations. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Designing safe, cost-effective, and efficient structures using specialized software programs
- Ensuring that all projects comply with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations
- Collaborating with architects and other engineers to develop project plans
- Conducting site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
- Preparing reports and presentations on project progress for stakeholders
- Managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project goals
- Communicating with contractors, clients, government officials, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
- Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in structural engineering technology

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design within the construction industry
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD or SAP2000
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Own visa or ability to obtain work visa in Moscow

Preferred qualifications:

- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
