We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Los Angeles. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy construction equipment to excavate, grade, and move earth or other materials. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the success of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and procedures
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to supervisors
- Excavate and move materials such as soil, rock, gravel, sand, or debris using heavy machinery
- Follow instructions from the site supervisor and work closely with other team members to complete tasks efficiently
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent accidents and damage to equipment
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job site

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating an excavator in a construction or similar setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety regulations regarding heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
