Construction Project Manager


As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects in Malindi. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards. Your primary goal will be to deliver projects that meet the expectations of clients while adhering to all necessary safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules, and monitor progress from start to finish
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to review design plans and make recommendations for improvements
- Hire contractors and subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and oversee their work
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues
- Manage project resources effectively, including equipment, materials, and labor
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality, progress, and adherence to timeline
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during construction process

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in Malindi or similar location
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members, contractors, clients
- Ability to read architectural blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Good problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise during construction process
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience managing construction projects within budget constraints
