Housekeeping Assistant

Our luxury hotel in Los Angeles is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our guest rooms and public areas. This position requires someone who is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, has excellent time management skills, and is able to pay close attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, replace towels and amenities
- Dust, polish, and vacuum all surfaces in guest rooms
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Stock and maintain housekeeping cart with supplies
- Assist with laundry as needed
- Clean and maintain public areas including the lobby, corridors, and restrooms
- Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure their satisfaction with housekeeping services

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1300 per month.

Experience Level:
No prior experience is required for this role. We welcome candidates without previous housekeeping experience who are willing to learn on the job.
